Since 2016, ACE Pictures Entertainment is a digital media and film production investment company, focused on providing financing solutions to diverse film projects around the world.
ACE Pictures Entertainment is a registered producer and film distributor with the National Film Development Corporation of Malaysia (FINAS) and its core members are affiliated with Professional Film Workers Association of Malaysia (PROFIMA).
ACE Pictures Entertainment LLC, based in LA, California, was establish in 2017. They are currently represented by Malcolm McNeil of Arent Fox as the corporate legal counsel and Shelley Surpin of Surpin, Mayersohn & Coghill as their projects legal counsel.

JOHNNY CHANG
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Johnny is a highly accomplished individual with an impressive track record of success across diverse industries. As a Director at ACE since 2017, he has been instrumental in strategic planning and business development, driving exponential growth and profitability for the organisation. Leading cross-functional teams, Johnny excels in executing business development plans, forging strategic partnerships, and managing key accounts to enhance market share. With exceptional communication skills, he delivers impactful presentations to C-level executives and potential investors, influencing the organisation’s overall direction and success through well-informed decision-making. Diligently monitoring key performance indicators, he ensures targets are met and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical practices is maintained.
In his prior role as Managing Director in the chemical and electronic industry from 2013 to 2017, Johnny demonstrated visionary leadership and strategic direction, navigating the company through expansion in a competitive market. His oversight extended to various business operations, including research and development, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and supply chain management. Through adept alignment with industry trends and customer demands, Johnny’s strategic plans and optimization efforts led to significant revenue growth of 30% within the first year, coupled with a 20% reduction in production costs, contributing to increased profitability.
During his tenure as a General Manager in the automotive and electronic industries from 1997 to 2013, Johnny skillfully managed daily operations, optimizing production processes, and expanding market reach. Notable achievements include the successful implementation of lean manufacturing principles, leading to reduced production lead times by 15% and manufacturing costs by 30%. PETER WONG
Chief Executive Officer / Film Director & Producer
Peter Wong, a versatile creative powerhouse, holds a degree in multimedia design and sound engineering, fueling his lifelong passion for music. With over 15 years of experience in graphic and web design, Peter’s talent has garnered him international recognition and awards, all while composing music for prestigious networks like Discovery Channel and Crime Investigation Network, as well as for esteemed clients such as Tourism Malaysia.
In 2010, Peter embarked on a journey into filmmaking, leading to the debut of his first feature in 2016, which premiered at the esteemed International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival in 2019. His subsequent projects, including a series of corporate short films in 2021, have earned him accolades such as the World Media Festivals Grand Award and recognition at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards.
Joining ACE Pictures in 2017 marked a pivotal moment in Peter’s career, from producing a slate of nine movies, to winning multiple awards including Sundance Grand Jury Prize in 2019 for “Clemency”. Working with celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Nicolas Cage and James Wan, he also received a PGA Mark from the Producers Guild of America in 2018 for his work on “Measure of Revenge,” starring Melissa Leo and Bella Thorne. Today, as a seasoned producer, director, and visionary, Peter is dedicated to crafting compelling and commercially successful film projects.

TIMUR BEKBOSUNOV
Chief CREATIVE OFFICER
Hailing from Kazakhstan, Timur Bekbosunov enriches our team with a blend of artistic flair and business acumen. With a diverse skill set encompassing strategic planning, content creation, packaging, and producing, Timur specializes in driving creative development and fostering strong producer/investor relationships. His expertise extends to music supervision, where he collaborates closely with creative teams to elevate the soundtrack of the company’s film productions.
As an international entertainment consultant, Timur has advised a multitude of public and private entities across the globe, spanning Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Russia, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and the United States. His professional journey includes serving as a marketing manager for a Russian start-up book publishing company and as a managing director of the Art of Opera Foundation, a non-profit organization.
Educated at esteemed institutions such as CalArts and USC, Timur boasts a rich background in the arts, with solo performances gracing major stages worldwide and contributions to numerous recordings and film soundtracks. Currently based in Los Angeles, California, Timur channels his passion for creative development, market research, management, and distribution to drive impactful initiatives in the entertainment industry. With his extensive experience and unwavering dedication, Timur Bekbosunov continues to shape the landscape of entertainment in innovative and compelling ways.
RAMDAN CHE HASSAN
Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer / Director & Producer
Ramdan Che Hassan is a multidisciplinary filmmaker and technologist with over two decades of experience across directing, writing, producing, cinematography, and post-production.
His work spans feature films, television, commercials, and digital content, collaborating with major broadcasters and studios including RTM, Astro, and TV3. He has contributed across the full filmmaking pipeline, from concept and script development to directing and post-production, bringing a holistic understanding of storytelling and execution.
Ramdan has written and directed multiple telefilms and feature projects, including Jengka and Antaramasa, and has served as advisor, script doctor, and consultant on notable productions such as Sepi and Rebel.
He is the founder of Layar Digital Sdn Bhd, where he leads the development of Vodstr, an AI-native streaming platform built with his team, focused on next-generation storytelling, intelligent media systems, and new cinematic formats.
Ramdan is a founding member of the CineTech Alliance, alongside Ace Pictures and Running Script, where he contributes as Chief Artificial Officer, leading the integration of artificial intelligence into content development and production workflows. His work focuses on bridging traditional filmmaking with emerging technologies, enabling new forms of storytelling, distribution, and audience engagement.
Andy alias
Chief Audio Visual Officer
Andy Alias is a Producer, Post Production & Sound Specialist. He has content produced for Media Prima CCG PSA; Bully ? Be Smart Don’t Start, Hari Raya’s Drive Smart, TV3 sports programs: Sport A Nation Builder, RPK Music Video, Dissolving Borders Documentary and US-TVC Clean Up Chinatown San Francisco.
In the field of Sound Design, he has collaborated with video artist Prof. Dr. Ray Langenbach and international fine artist Wong Hoy Cheong, whose works that have been exhibited and screened at the Guggenheim Museum New York, Fukuoka Art Museum, Liverpool & Istanbul Biennials, Taiwan Museum, and National Gallery Singapore.
He has sound designed and mixed numerous cinema trailers and commercials (Cine-Ad), such as Fleak a Finnish Animated Feature Film, Sprayed US Documentary, AirAsia X UK Cinema Release, Panasonic, A&W and many more. He also has supervised and did the surround sound mix for the Hollywood film Measure of Revenge (2022) starring Oscar winners Melissa Leo, Bella Thorne, and Adrian Martinez. As for the American documentary Sprayed (2018), the film has won 5 Best Documentary Awards at Hollywood Film Festival Circuits. Other films that were produced but unreleased were The Kick Inside (1998) starring comedian Jim Gaffigan and Something Scary by Ariel Productions. He also did sound design for the video game Andretti EA Sports NASCAR (1998).
Among the notable Malaysian feature films that he has cinema mixed are Cekau directed by Kabir Bhatia, Rebel directed by Awie, Munnajim: Sekutu Iblis, Kanang Anak Langkau, Blues by Shanjey Perumal & the Astro Original, Kudeta. And in addition, Silat Legenda 1998 was the first Dolby Digital Surround Sound Feature Film in Malaysia (credited in Malaysia Book of Records) he had supervised and specially engineered with Dolby Labs, UK.
Andy has also lectured at Taylor’s University, ASWARA, UniKL, Sunway University, UiTM, RTM - IPPTAR, Cenfad, and for the Media Prima TV stations (TV3/8TV/TV9). He previously served as Head of the Broadcast Arts & New Media Department at the Center for Advanced Design (Cenfad) from 2000 to 2006.
From 1995 to 1998, he had worked for Trytone Productions, Oakland, CA, USA whose credits and clients include NFL legend John Madden (16 Emmy Awards), Sesame Street / Oliver’s Story: John Korty (Oscar/Emmy Award winner), The Replacement (starring Keanu Reeves), and Conceiving Aida (starring Tilda Swinton).
Andy is a Motion Picture graduate of the Academy of Art University, San Francisco 1997 and the Hollywood Film Institute. Andy has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of Post-Production Professionals Association (MyPost) Malaysia from 2021 to present. MyPost is working closely with RTM, FINAS & Ministry of Communications, Malaysia.
Royston Chang
Project Engineer
Royston Chang is a newly graduated Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering graduate from Taylor’s University, driven by a strong passion for the engineering and technology sector. During his time at university, he developed a solid technical foundation in mechanical systems, design analysis, and engineering problem-solving. His academic journey was complemented by active participation in collaborative projects and technical initiatives, where he demonstrated strong leadership, teamwork, and communication abilities. Royston's leadership and presentation skills were recognized when he secured first place at the Engineering Fair held in July 2024, highlighting his ability to effectively translate technical concepts into impactful solutions.
Building on this foundation, Royston expanded his professional exposure beyond traditional engineering environments by working with ACE Pictures. Royston’s small experience in the media, entertainment industry and experience in engineering allowed him to bridge analytical engineering thinking with creative production processes. This multidisciplinary exposure enhanced his adaptability, time management, and ability to collaborate effectively with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
Siti Fatima Binti Razali
Operations executive
Siti Fatima Binti Razali is an Executive in Operations and Project Management at ACE Pictures, where she plays a key role in supporting the company’s strategic and creative initiatives. She contributes to the development of pitch decks by translating ideas into compelling visual presentations, while also overseeing administrative coordination and research to ensure smooth project execution.
A graduate of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology with a Bachelor (Hons) in Design (Visual Communications), Siti brings a strong foundation in visual storytelling and design thinking to her work. Her ability to bridge creative concepts with structured execution allows her to support both the operational and creative demands of a fast-paced production environment.
With a keen eye for detail and a collaborative approach, she is dedicated to contributing to impactful projects and continuously growing within the dynamic landscape of film and media production.
